News from Tanzania and the Salvisberg family

Salvisberg family in Tanzania for 3 months

On June 1, 2023, we will fly as a family to Tanzania for three months. A lot has happened since we were there (in 2021) as a whole family. We are so thankful for all your prayers in the past and in the future. Pray that God will keep opening doors for us to boldly share the Gospel with the unreached. We also need much wisdom for the building of the Discipleship Training School and how to deal with the needs and hardships of orphans, poverty, unemployment and much more in general.

Investing oneself socially is done quickly. However, we see again and again that the greatest and most far-reaching help for this country is when people radically convert to Jesus. This leads to the fact that they perceive their personal responsibility and begin to recognize the needs of their compatriots and to support them.

Joy for the orphans!
The orphan school gets a new kitchen and two children's swings!

The kitchen for the orphan school will soon be completed. In addition to all the construction of the school, we were also able to install two swings for the children, which they enjoy very much.

Thank you for your support! It helps the orphans to get a good basis for the entry into elementary school, as well as to be fed daily.

Kind regards Joël Salvisberg & Daniel Adongo Ouma

Water system & toilet system created

The well including the water connection with a 10'000 liter tank is completed.

The Caretaker House finally has a working toilet! It is interesting to see how sewage systems are built in Tanzania. Not like here in the west, but it works!

Suleiman's family can now move into the house and get settled.

Project Security - Infirmary

Daniel Adongo Ouma has been the chairman of a small infirmary located near the church for quite some time.
The infirmary cares for people who are in need and also have no financial means to get treatment.

Unfortunately, robberies take place again and again where money, medicines and bandages are stolen. To counteract this prophylactically, we have decided to build a security fence around the entire facility.

From Tanzania we will send you photos, videos and updates from time to time to keep you informed.

Best wishes and many heartfelt thanks for all your support, may Heavenly Father bless you richly!
