Doctors, nurses and patients should be safe.
Many hospital wards are repeatedly attacked and robbed, much to the chagrin of patients, nurses and doctors. The reason is often a lack of security.
Daniel is the chairman of a small health station in Musoma. Also this station was broken into again and again, many medicines, dressing material, as well as money were stolen. For this reason we have now decided to support the infirmary with a security fence around the whole area.
The completed "fence project" was handed over to the mayor and the local community in a ceremony at the beginning of July 2023.
Various television stations from Musoma and the Mara region were present to report on the event.
